Back to the 60's - Vive le Vidal!

The new season fashion trend is shifting from the hippy 70's to the new clean shapes of the 60's. In perfect timing, "Vidal Sassoon the Movie" is the inspirational story of how one man changed the world with a pair of scissors. The film traces Sassoon's life from a London orphanage to international success and celebrity.

Living through war and poverty, young Vidal becomes driven to rise above the circumstances of his birth.Through tireless hard work, he struggles to modernize the old-fashioned world of hair; inspired by modern architecture, Sassoon focuses on geometric shapes and angles - literally changing the way women look and ushering in the social revolutions of the '60s.

Mulberry has turned 40, and as much it has come into its fashion strength in the last few years, it has in fact many more years of heritage British style...to celebrate they have produced a beautiful photo book of images taken over the last 2 years, backstage during fashion shows and at shoots. From the birth of the beloved shopper-favourite Alexa, to celeb sightings, the book shows the workmanship that goes into each bag, accessory and clothing...
