London Fashion Week trends low-down

I always love Fashion Week, and I get to many of the London shows (New York, Milan and Paris will just have to wait for me)...so far the strong trends for Autumn Winter 2011 include:

- Summer's strong colours continue in autumnal hues - crimson, magenta, prussian blue, ochre, emerald, sapphire, dove grey, tomato red.
Jaeger A/W 2011
- COATS, COATS, COATS
Burberry Prorsum A/W 2011
Aquascutum A/W 2011
- Fur - if its not real, then make sure its a really good fake...fur is everywhere

Amanda Wakeley A/W 2011
- Androgenous menswear feel (suiting, loose trousers, boyish styling)

Paul Smith A/W 2011
- Cable knitwear
Nicole Farhi A/W 2011

Is it...? Could it be....? Has Spring FINALLY arrived??

The sky is blue and the sun is shining! This winter has felt so long and dark, and the slow warm up to Spring has been arduous and downright boring.

In my job of following and interpreting the catwalk trends into inspiring, yet attainable fashion, the lure of spring/summer 2011 has been building for months. Is it possible that I can now, bring out my top 5 must-haves for this season:

The Wedge (Nine West)
Bright Bock Colours (Reiss)
Cool In White (Zara)
Mid-calf skirt (Whistles)
1970's anything (Topshop)

Oh look - just in time for the weather, you can buy all of these trends online right now!

Gold leather wedge, £90, Nine West

Penelope blue/green silk dress £159, Reiss
White trousers £39.99 and top, all by Zara

Silk pleated Erica midi-skirt, £110 Whistles

Spotty blouse £36, by Topshop
